DOES ANY1 HAVE ANY PREDICTIONS ON HOW THE GAME AGAINST WALSALL WILL GO?????

I PREDICT A 2-1 SLOUGH WIL

Slough have home advantage, Walsall have appalling away form at present (and may be used to better pitches?), and the FA Cup is known for surprises.

Walsall ought to have the advantage in terms of fitness and skill, but you can be certain that the Rebels will be much more 'up for it' than the opposition and will certainly have the louder support from the fans.

So, what will be the deciding factor? Any of the above? Or will it just come down to who makes fewer mistakes? [...discuss.]

Fans will be louder?! Well we're gonna have a go too! Anyway, looking forward to the match although i'm V.nervous about it. Our away form is terrible but we've just won our first away game in about 14 in the LDV, hopefully that'll be a boost.

Anyway, looking forward to a crackin match. See you all there.

To be honest, I fully expect Walsall to be louder than the Slough support. For a start they will have 700 regulars who will know their songs whereas our choir consists of about a dozen in a regular crowd of 300. Plus they are getting the covered side of the ground so we will have to generate a lot of hot air

People go to football for different reasons. If there's a good atmosphere, great, it makes for a good day out and I think, encourages fans, particularly the younger ones (U16's) to come back, but at the end of the day, as long as people are paying their money through the gate, that's the most important thing.

That said, I would love it if we had everyone tucked in behind the goal each week with everyone joining in the songs, it would make for one helluva atmosphere.

2 -1 to Slough ! football is 90% perspiration 10 % inspiration & I can see the Slough boys running their blood to water. There probably wont be too much flowing football as it will be about eliminating our own mistakes & capitalising on theirs. But its the glory of the FA cup & anything can happen. The pich will be a leveller, all the pressure is on Walsall....and although most people wont know the individual songs they can all chant 'SLOUGH TOWN !!'

Agree with the home support, we will ahve much greater numbers but many of them will not be regs, but hopefully they can be trained 2,000 people shouting mullet power would be amusing.... I reckon a 3-2 win to the Slough, but we do have the curse of MOTD against us, no own goals please lads!! I agree with the above if Walsall do lose, Merson is out.. Perhaps he could go to Wycombe or play for my sunday league side?
