I know the first goalscorer market is usually just a money spinner for ther bookies, but 40/1 for Josais to score first or 66/1 for Daly to score first are just too tempting for words. Hodges at 9/1 is our lowest priced player so it might even be worth having a £1 bet on each of the outfield players to score first.

Definitely having some of 5/1 for a Slough win and perhaps a separate first goal bet for Hodgey, or Daly for an outside bet.

Ok then, who else had quite a return then? I only wish I'd stuck more than £4 on Hodges to score first and Slough win 2-1 (combined odds of 105/1)

 

It would seem we are now the second favourites to be the non-league team who lasts the longest in the FA Cup, at 9/2, just behind Yeading who are rated at 4/1. I guess that means they have Yeading as favourites for our game overall.

Well, I wish I'd had more than a fiver on Slough to win too. Won £30, but now regret not following my dad's advice and going for first goal Hodges, 2-1... would only have put £1 on it, but £105 would have been a bloody good return.
