We need help urgently both on Wednesday (most Important)and again on Thursday.

If you can help please be at Stag Meadow at 10am on Wednesday and 9am on Thursday.

Thank you in advance.

Also Roy has asked if anyone can drive a mini bus, which will be used for transporting - both team and guests. If you can help please call Roy 01753-554833 (If Roy is unavailable please leave message on answer phone) or alternatively, contact a club official at Wexham Park between 7pm and 9pm this week.

The mini bus requirement is covered but we desperately need people at Stag Meadow on Wednesday and Thursday. What better way to use up that left over annual leave before you lose it?!

Please do all you can to get there during either or both of these days.

Ian.

Unfortunately I can't make Wednesday or Thursday as I'd hoped, as I'll be using my annual leave to attend the funeral of a friend who passed away last week. His family are hoping to have his ashes scattered at Old Trafford. I'm very glad that I made the trip to see him in September rather than go to the Braintree game.

Sorry to hear about your mate, BFR, remember reading about it at the time.

Good luck to Slough and Yeading, flying the flag for the Ryman league in the F.A.cup both at home i believe.

Whilst we are playing Eastleigh in the League, I am sure we will here of any shocks at your place, are you Saturday or Sunday?

Roy will be at Stag Meadow from 10AM tomorrow and there are a number of jobs that need doing. Whether they get done will depend on how many people turn up so we need as many as possible to ensure everything that needs doing is finished in time.

One thing that has to be done to satisfy the local plod is the removal of one metal fence panel from the far side of the ground. I've been down tonight and taken the bolts out but it needs someone tomorrow to partially break the concrete that's holding it in place to get the panel out. If anyone can go equippped to undertake such a task (i.e. with a ****ing big hammer or a pick) then that would help enormously.

Darron (Wilko) is putting up scaffolding and fencing as segregation from approx. 2-3PM onwards so any helping hands around that time would also be useful. The fencing at the far end also needs some attention and will need several bodies to help. Please do whatever you can to get down at some stage.

By the way, the commentary box looks great!!

Apart from Roy and Wilko, who's going to be there at what times? I hope to at least make the reserve game, and possibly to help out in the afternoon, depending on how quickly I get some work polished off which is due for Thursday morning. Apologies if I can't be there though.

Dont want to sound funny or anything...but it seems like the same faces that I remember not only from 10 years ago but from longer ago are hard at it as usual!!! If it wasnt for people like you, I believe the club would have turned up it toes completely long long ago. Keep it up and as usual I will be watching the results from the good 'ole USofA!!!

I don't agree Chris - i stopped following Slough for quite a few years. When i went back the old diehards like Chris Silski are still there (we can't get rid of him! only joking) but there are lots of new people, especially youngsters behind the goal, making a noise, sorting out the website, the programme, player of the month, running the merchandise, selling tickets around town for the Walsall game, turning up to demos...

For the grief the club has had over the past few years its amazing people keep going. Saturday is everyones reward!
