How Did Jake Play ?

Hodgey played, Veli did not and was in the stand, but it does not too good for Saturday sadly. Jake saved another penalty and Hodgey missed from the spot for us. Mets and Wilko were rested with minor injuries.

 

Thought Matt Seedal may have played his way into the side for next week on today's performance, ok the opposition were not good, but I thought he played really well.

Seedel was my MOTM and POTM as I feel he has been excellent since he got back into the side. Definate selection headache for Eddie which can only be a good thing.

 

Lucky you were taking notes as well Chris as no-one appeared to be reporting today. Whoops!

Good win - it doesn't matter what level the opposition play at, a win is a win.

 

Can't say anyone played badly today. Couldn't you just tell that all the players were out to impress Eddie today? Hodges in particular was desperate to score and looked devastated that he didn't. With the game safe and turning into a training game, I think it was overall a very good day, and importantly, nobody seemed to pick up a knock. Bring on the Walsall !

Ridiculously easy against a frankly dreadful side. Everyone played well and it certainly seems like they were keen to impress. It was nice to have a game without any nervous tension. Looking forward to he big one next week - Bring on the Walsall!

Hollie, Max, Jack, Graham & myself would like to apologise for our late arrival, which adveresly effected the choral component of the travelling fans.

In a blatant attempt to alter the course of the fixture, a slough town official rear ended the transport selected for the day, and delayed arrival until after Slough Towns 4th. Just because the car behind Richard effectively destroyed itself on his tailgate, is irrelevant, the intent was clear. A re-match to rectify this traversty is demanded !!!
