Sunday's team

Just thinking it will be interesting to see what team Eddie puts out Sunday. Dorking will be a tough game and we won't underestimate them, but i'd like to think that whatever side we put out we'd be able to get through first time.

 

Will Eddie play the regular first team? Be interesting as he may rest players for the Walsall match, but even if we did not qualify for that I think he may have changed the team around a bit.

 

For example i'd expect Martin Moller to start - he has not started for ages and it would be good to see the likes of Matt Murphy, Nick Gyoury, Danny Steer and Sam Shephard to get some fitness under their belts?

 

I would play Hodgey, just for fitness purposes, but I would not be suprised to see Daly, Carbon, Haddow and Chopper rested. Be very interesting tomorrow's tem I think...

I would imagine anyone who's carrying a knock or with a niggling injury would be (if possible ) rested. We will certainly need everyone 110 % next week.

Eddie has stated that he thinks a run in the Trophy is important too, so I would have thought he'd play a fairly strong team. The players should all raise their games to ensure they play against Walsall as well, because I'm sure Eddie has told them that no-one has a guaranteed place in the team.

I would imagine Matt Murphy will play as he is cup-tied for next Sunday.

My mum spoke to Wilko today (she's a teacher and his son is in her class at school) and he said he wasn't sure if he was playing Sunday. Could mean Denton is considering resting players who have had a lot of football so far this year (Saulsbury, Skips, Josias, Wilko, Mets, etc).

Don't forget though, Wilko had a knock on Sunday and wasn't going to play. Didn't look like he was training on Tuesday night either. Might just be recovering, but a chance for Shepherd to stake his claim in that holding role in midfield perhaps?
