alice.....any Hx financial business is still the responsibilty of the owners and the directors and shall remain so..GC has professional support and will sort out the future with those advsiors whos fees are being paid by the shareholders..

I recall well your campaign to interfere with the ricay affairs but don't actually recall you being there on the friday afternoon in chelmsford when that club was saved from closure at the last minute....

nothing will change and a post mortem can wait...

red and white army...I offered no money to anyone so I do not understand why GH said that...calder knew that there were to be no new signings....I never discussed money for players ever with GH....

the employees of the club and the companies will receive all their money in due course as is normal in these situations..

will you be helping out at the club tonight free of charge...?

red and white....I know that you are a player or a players wife/girlfriend....

I am genuinely sorry for your predicament if my reasoning is correct...

however....

the club is not in breach of contract until the 16th November 2004....

all the players here at Hx came for the money....only one played today in our victory at Arsley....

well done the young lads.....

Hi,

Think I come in the catogary of "glory hunter" but still have very much enjoyed the last year or so which would never have happened without UU's money.

I personally have never met the man but am fully aware of what he has done for the club (All good stuff from Max)

To give him stick at this stage is wrong ... without him the past few years would have been in the wilderness...so most of you should be saying thanks for the memories and encouraging the bloke to get involved in the future rather than slagging him off.

This can go two ways you can either give up or try to come up with a strategy to survive.

If today is anything to go by the future looks good...what we need is some bright ideas.

Hornchurch has got to this stage by living the dream I'm sure between us we can continue to be the brightest light in non-league football...why not get thinking caps on and have a meeting after Tuesday's match. Thing to do is think differently, the usual fund raising will not get us far but something different is what Hornchurch is all about...there a plenty of organisations looking for this story lets go and get 'em

UU - all the best for the future and hope to meet up in the future

Alice, I don't understand your obsession with the possible demise of a football club.

You first came onto the Ricay forum claiming to be a Canvey supporter with an interest in our club.

You forum existence evolved into becoming a Ricay Supporter who was in the know, but made inaccurate statements. (It was clear you were just fishing)

You now move on to Hornchurh, (fishing again) with loaded questions, that you think you can disguise as constructive comments.

In my opinion you are no better than gutter press.

The shareholders and committees of both Ricay & Hornchurch know what your underlying question is, if you want it answered, then ask it straight, on the Ricay forum!

You must be the last person who doesn’t know, the answer, its been asked hundreds of times in the last few days.

Maybe that’s because your too busy making 7 from 2 & 2.

Oh, bye the way, we won 1-0 at Bognor today in the Trophy, are looking forward to a home tie in the FA Cup first round against Stevenage, and with a bit of luck will be there or there a bouts in the league at the end of the season, our building work is nearly finished, the pitch is looking great, our youth are in the first round of the FA youth cup, and BTFC expectations for next Year, are for an all round improvement.

Now leave the nice people of Hornchurch alone, move on, and enjoy life.

Okay, I've had me fun and given my support (verbal only - U can't that the 'Ricay out of the Man).

From what I can see, Hx have a lot to be grateful to UU. In any case, two season's ago you were Ryman 1 with an average crowd of 100 (?). With his business knowledge, cash, cheek and love of football, you now have a great club house, a restaurant, facilities that benefit a club of your standing, a proud and loyal support base and a Conference South position. UU has also been a help to 'Ricay and for that, deserves the same, in wotever shape or form from us. Even if it be only be respect and best wishes for the future.

To top it all, a great Managing Director in Gary Calder, who is no stranger to hard times and has the will, the strength and personality to fight it out and get the best deal for the club. You have a top notch manager, who also made of the same stuff.

As for Alice...Well, I just think he likes to dig the sh*t up. He glories in asking pointed questions under the guise of a "supporter of football" but only when things are uncomfortable for all concerned. His questions are well put but read between the lines...As UU indicated, he never pitch's up physically when a club is in trouble. If he wants to "support" any club, be it Hx, Canvey or 'Ricay, he can bloody well help out on match days. Especially for us this Saturday for us as all hands are required. He will be made very welcome.

On top of this, your youth team have shown everyone yesterday that Hx are still a force to reckon with and did you proud. I was pleased that they got the result for you. Despite the banter and the wind ups which go hand in hand with our rilvary, I wish you all the best. Some of you have certainly earned my respect and I look forward to many other (friendly) battles, be it on the pitch or on this forum (I'm sure some of you remember me pitching up for your home game against The Kings in me 'Ricay shirt - lol). It would be shame to lose you. Keep fighting lads.

Oh and if there ever is a "Urchin Aid", let me know. I'll pitch up with me guitar and do a couple of Townshend numbers...
