Well Torquay may have put up a good fight, but lets face it, the South Americans never really looked like losing it.

 

Well taken goal by Ronaldo but how many times did Rivaldo have the opportunity to set up a team mate to finish the game, but try to score by himself?

 

Anyone also hear that comment by John Motson at the end of the game? "Well its the final that everyone wanted?" Sorry Moty me old mate, it certainly wasn't the final I wanted!

The thought of Brazil v Germany doesn't exactly fill me with great anticipation. Although I sounds better than Germany v Turkey - just!

 

I'm still feeling sick that we didn't have the know how against Brazil. Amazing how the talk injuries and not fully fit players has suddenly emerged.

It's actually the first time that Brazil have ever met Germany in a World Cup Finals match, despite the huge number of times that they have both qualified for the competition.

 

Such a shame that the two teams are such let-downs in comparison to their predecessors - e.g. Brazil 1970 or 1982, Germany 1974. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

From the four teams left in the semis I'm glad it is the Final....I shall watch the game in the pub with a few sherries for company....looking forward to it...Can't help wondering what might have been..
