I would like to wish Hornchurch Football club all the best for the future.

 

I can assure everyone that UU's love of Hornchurch was sincere; he never believed for one minute that the club was in danger.

 

But as my ole mum used to say, there’s always someone bigger and stronger than you.

That’s what happened, Uncle got into a fight with the bigger boys and lost, trust me, and in the world of business these were bigger boys!

 

But what's left after the fight is a good football club, with a great set of fans, which out number most no-league sides, a wonderful stadium, and a very smart bar.

(Could do with some draught beer though).

 

So many clubs would gladly take what you have been left with, you know that! You’ve been to those clubs; you’ve seen what they operate with.

So it's not all lost, it's not all doom and gloom, get up, wipe your mouth, and fight on.

here here,we have been left with alot more than when it started,just feel for the staff that haven't been payed and wish it hadn't of happened this week,but i suppose theres never a good time for something like this to happen,we will fight on

Get ready for the idiots who will want to have a dig at Hornchurch, who will bleat on about 'Big Money Men' and what happens when they pull out. But true non-league footy fans will be genuiney sorry to hear of your problems and many will know that, but for the grace of God...

 

Nobody wants to see football sides go out of business, whether it's a local club or one of the opposition. Hornchurch have rather blasted themselves onto the football scene and it would be a real shame if their demise was equally as rapid.

 

Best of luck from someone who, although has never been your greatest admirer and always been delighted at our victories over you on the field, is still sincerely disappointed to hear of your troubles.

Take heart from the fact you are not the first(and you won't be the last)club to find yourself in this predicament. A lot of the other clubs have found the means, and resolve ,to soldier on.

Maybe whomever is in charge of your club contacted one or two of the others, they may be given good advice on the way forward.
