One or two negative posts on here !

When a company goes 't1ts-up', it can often happen extremely quickly and sometimes through no fault of the 'man-at-the-top'.

Slagging specific people off will NOT help your plight.

Most of you are shell-shocked. Wait a day or two, then band yourselves together and see what YOU can do for the Club - NOT what the club can do for you !

I've had a lot of friendly banter over the past couple of years with the Hornchurch Faithful, and I genuinely feel so very sorry for you.

Get yourselves together and push forward ! I wish I could help in some way.

All the best.

John.

Guy's not is all lost, We have 14 day's to get the contract situation sorted out. I am aware some players have already left, but there are plans being put in place to stop us going into admin. If we can avoid admin then players can be brought in on a non-contract basis. So there is light at the end of the tunnel. The current playing staff can then be freed of the contracts and maybe we get some money for them.

This is not a time for slagging people off. We must hope and pray that such plans are successful.

I feel as though I am intruding in your private grief but, frankly, someone has to.

You people will get nowhere by whinging and whining about the events of the past four years or, indeed, the past four weeks, and the actions or inactions of one or a handful of people.

First of all, leave the past in the past and look to the future.

Secondly, a small group of you need to properly understand the current financial position of what you call 'Hornchurch FC', but is, in all likelihood, a private limited company. Who are the shareholders? What is the current shareholders attitude to 'Hornchurch FC'. Can those shares be acquired? What is the financial position of that company? Debts? Liabilities?

Thirdly, and fast, some of you need to understand the attitude of The Nationwide Conference. What will they require for Hornchurch FC to continue to play in this League? Remember, people like John Moules 'care'. They are there to help and, certainly, not to stop the club from continuing. However, they have their rules, and you need to know what they are.

Stick together you Urchins and move on!

Good luck from me.

dear god, has it come to using metaphors already?

If so, could I just add that you can take a horse to water, but you can't use rizlas underwater?

excellent, cheers.

If you like Metaphors, try this:
The ripple effect from this particular splashdown may yet capsize a few smaller boats in the pond (Wots he going on about I hear you say)?

If it's true that the company bankrolling the Urchins were also sponsoring other areas of the Non-League game, then there may well be a few dolphins caught up in the tuna net.

There must be all sorts happening in the backroom but if the club are to seek new (safe) money then someone better put together the detailed debt and responsibilities outstanding

The best bet is to see if the debt is managable by a supporters trust, I.E first things first what is the debt
