I presume they will have 10 points deducted a la Northwich?

Isn.t this a different situation? They haven't gone into administration, just had the rug pulled out from under them by their backer. Apart from wages etc nobody has said what other debts Hornchurch have been left with

Oh well it is a shame, these money people must learn , you have to run a business correctly, walk before you run it's a simple fact keep your overheads down and grow at your predicted pace, do not overspend or take huge gambles.

Hornchurch will be ok if they can get fans to rally round although i cannot see them holding onto players reported to be on £3000-£4000 a month, god that's as much as me. Although they have released all contracted players some may stay for a while.

It is true we suffered just over 20 years ago under the Roger Easterby era, in fact we nearly went out of business in the middle 60's, i would love a Sugar Daddy or Mummy to give money to Fleet as long as he/she was sensible.

I'd love somone to bung a load of money into the Fleet, as long as our existance didn't depend on it. At the moment I'll settle for what weve got. After Saturday our average home attendance will be over 1500 which not so long ago was a target we were trying to achieve. The thing we've got that Hornchurch, Canvey, Grays, Sittingborne never have had and never will have is potential. Massive catchment area and a fan base that will always grow as the standard of football improves.

We gone bankrupt we gone bankrupt we don't care we don't care!!

I'm still Hornchurch, rich or poor, and so are most of these 'West Ham' fans as you so wrongly put them.

There will be another backer and we will still be in excistance its just a matter of time. I'm sure it will be a hard ride and we won't be seeing you in such the near future like we thought last week however we'll bounce back and'll be up there in a few seasons contesting with the 'big dogs' of the conference, you mark my words.

Let's hope you do, i am sure you do care and i am glad you are Hornchurch rich or poor, it is tough when you are poor we have been there, why dont all you fans put money in your club like we did three seasons ago.

Anyway i wish you all the best and i hope you do get the backing.

ha ha!! lucky man, lucky lucky man!!!

No luck - simply the appliance of science - my money only went on last week! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Grays / Hornchurch were always going to be the front runners - except with Hornchurch there was always a risk of the money disappearing from the club.

See confguide last saturday when I described our defeat as 'Bankruptcy in the making 3 Gravesend 2' - yes I had heard a rumour last week but everybody would have laughed if I had said anything!

C'mon you Grays!
