It's not the scoring bit that everybody has had trouble with,

it's the part about finding officials who understand when & when not to flag (for offside, ball out of play...) <img border="0" title="" alt="[smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

 

Wonder how tomorrow's goals are going to be disallowed? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Maybe a player will be sent off for being offside or for a foul throw in.

Pah! The Germans roll on remorselessly to the final with their own tedious brand of 1-0 victories.

 

And scored by a Pete Sampras clone. At least he's out of the final, but I'm sure they've got some evil Nazi scientists tucked away somewhere that'll conjure up another goalscorer. One's all they need - that robot Kahn has been programmed not to let anything past him.

It was probably one of the least exciting games of the WC, but I don't suppose the Germans care. Even with a team nowhere near as good as their usual standard they've gone through to the final with minimal fuss and excitement - I suppose you have to appreciate the way they do it, even though it's very boring.

What! I hear you say. Think about it, it would be the third time they've won this trophy, so get to keep it. World Cup 2006, England are the first team to win the new one.

And seeing as we stuffed them 5-1 at their place last year, that will also leave us as the moral victors of this tournament !!

Apparentley 65,000 Koreans have just turned up at the stadium only to find the Germans had already left their towels on the seats.

 

My prediction is Germany 0 : 1 South Korea

 

With Germany having 3 goals disallowed.... one for offside, one for pushing and one just for being Krauts.

According to the Sun (OK, I know they're not exactly the gospel!!), the Koreans have been whinging that all 3 officials are Europeans.

 

Perhaps they're worried that they might not be as up for a bribe as the Africans and South Americans!
