Letter from Candy's Parents

Eamsie has just forwarded a letter from Candy's parents. Here's the contents...

 

On Saturday 5 April 2003 your away match against Canvey Island, in which your club supported very well, helped raise over £1,700 for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

 

Candy Bloomfield was the mascot for the day and your support and kind messages will remain with us forever.

 

Now after over two years, we have some very special news. On 19 October 2004 Candy has been given the all clear after her treatment for Leukaemia and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, players and supporters for your massive support.

 

Candy has one very special card from St Alban's supporters and it will be with her forever. Again many, many thanks for all your support.

I think we can remove the Staff and Players part from that letter, it'll be nice to have that printing in the next program.
