I think Dave waqs right with an earlier posting that although it is expected the Huish pitch will not be ready until late September , the club have not made an official announcement yet .

One consolation is that Dorchester have a terrific ground located just outside this historic County town. It is certainly one of the best non-League grounds I have seen. The second is that a 'neutral' ground may (to pardon the Yeovil pun) prove to be something of a leveller.

Any idea when a decision will be made. A few of us were planning to make a weekend of it, and are looking to book something.

As to when a decision will be made, that is down to Yeovil I'm afraid

I'll publish directions for Dorchester once it is confirmed that is where we will be playing.

 

Another set of directions that will have to be altered is for Northwich Victoria who will be playing at Witton Albion this season.

 

Barnet are also looking for new accomodation, and there is the possibility that we will be making a nostalgic return to Leyton Orient. (What a header that was )

 

Finally as everyone is no doubt aware Margate are planning to play this season's matches at the Crabble.

For any of you taking in the pre-season tour, you go straight past Dorchesters ground (on the right going round the by-pass) on the way to Weymouth.

Mr Ullathorne is currently at Slough, I believe, and judging by their message boards, they think he's wonderful.

 

Such a shame that he never really used that ability to the full.

 

And Dave, would I really be so fussy as to comment on someones capitalising something they shouldn't ..... ???
