The Chairman of Braintree Town has posted a very useful summary of the position when a club isn't paying a player on his message board.

 

Gary Ansell and the remaining players at The Mighty Saints from the 2001/02 season, when the club was suspended from the League and faced a Winding-Up petition in the High Court in London, will be able to confirm the accuracy of that summary.

Afternoon Peter - you forgot the final paragraph.

 

"Fortunately for 'The Mighty Saints' they were saved from being wound up as the major creditor wrote off his six-figure debt and gave aware his majority shareholding free of charge."

 

Now that's what I call very helpful!
