Student murdered?!

Recommended Posts

it might be tame, but it's the facts! anyway, my tutor told we you should always end on a weak paragraph, just let the story trail off and let the sub-editors cut something out so that they'll be happy.plus, that's information that's already been established when the story first broke, so there's no point in making a big deal out of it. You'll see what i mean when/if you read the 'assignment' post

Those were the quotes in the story, so I can't really change them. I'll probably fail anyway!

anthropology is next week!

That sounds a far more interesting course than the boring crap that masqueraded as Media Studies I did at Uni.

Precisely, Chubbster.

You go back to your Lecturer person and you say words to the effect "Oi. Tutor! No! No farmer 'ploughs a new field'. Where did he get the field from? Mail order or something? How new was it? have you ever seen a field, you Inner City Dork!"

Then you say "What's this word 'gobsmacked' mean? Aren't we supposed to respect the English language? I didn't come to this chicken-sh!t, jumped-up polytechnic to come out the other end and get a job on The Sun, matey."

Then you say "I am prepared to spend a lot of my time trying to learn the finer arts of [whatever it is you are studying]. Do me the great favour of spending one per cent of that time setting questions that are above the I.Q. of the average amoeba. And while you're about it, get a life, why don't you."

Initiative, Chubbster. Initiative. Stand out from the herd. Don't be a conformist.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi SteveP.

And it's supposed to be 'more interesting than media studies"!! Watching films and reading The Sun for 3 years!! Have you ever noticed Steve, a Media Studies degree must hold the world record for a degree course where graduates have not the slightest chance of working 'in the field' as a result. It exceeds the next Mickey Mouse degree in the League table by a multiple of 5.

Anyway. Back to the point.

Just because the ignorant Scots woman says that she is 'gobsmacked', the aspiring cub reporter, hereafter known as Superscoop, doesn't have to quote the words. How about 'Private McMillans granddaughter Nellie McSporran explained her astonishment at the visit by the Scots Guards Officer and said ".... etc. etc.". No refernce to 'gobsmacked' but the point is covered.

I'm bored with this one.

fk me is it worth all the hassle.. this is school work not uni stuff.. what a load of bollox.. just write down the following..

"Scotish bloke cops it in the 'big push'.. University educated generals at the time decide more men from the regions are required to wear out German machine guns (inadvertantly neglecting intelligence on german workmanship ..see BMW's from 1970 onwards).. Not wanting to get their shiny newly invented tanks all muddy lots more poor young c..ts cop it as University educated chumps fail to realise that bullets and barbed wire f..king hurt a lot.. never mind pass the salt old chap.. the end....

throw in on your lecturers desk, inform him he is a waste of tax dollars, walk out and get a job doing or producing something useful..

or at the very least study something useful like history
