Future of Clarence Park

Recommended Posts

As some of you might be aware i'm currently working on a project which looks at the redevolpent of clarence park and its facilities.

I'm mostly looking at constuction methods and site feasibility but i've also touched on how the club could pay for the development.

Under fairly new regulation Rail Track have been allowed the chance to sell off some of there land which they pay a fortune in maintaining and protecting from vandals. The club could buy the land for a minimal price i believe were talking thousand rather than hundreds of thousands.

They can level out the embankment which which ive roughly worked out would increase the size of our club by 3,000 square meters. I've also looked at knocking down our old stand and introduce the one Lee hard designed. By doing this you can bring the stand forward by about another 10 - 15 meters.

With all this new land we could have a big bar and confence center which can be accessed from Hatfield road bridge excellent location to station and town.

I've also introduced new covers at either end with just as many new toilets for women as there is for men. This is in the hope to encourage more women to the club and encourage Arsenal Ldies to return yo the club. The posibilty of a ground share with the ever growing Arsenal Ladies as also been looked at. Womens football is on the increase after all.

Any other ideas anyone.

Also has anyone got any photos what so ever that they could send me via email to help with this project.

Lots of love very exciteable costello x
