Regarding tickets for seats. Will they be allocated, as I regularly sit in the stands, I dont want to get a ticket and find that Ive end up with a view from the bad of the stand cos they havent been.

 

Can anyone confirm whether they are or not?

By the way, as i said in other forum... if this news of us getting Tony back on loan is true that would be great.

just wanted to state that living in Cippenham, working in Slough, kids at school in Maidenhead, even watched Slough when they played at the Dolphin (when a lot of you guys werent born !)..........doesnt qualify me as a devious Walsall fan trying to sneak in the 'home' end....

seriously though Ian, I accept your point, but there are lots of guys who go to matches and those that dont who will want to support the club. Surely if someone turns up & enjoys the product they may well go again.... thats got to be good news for everyone ?

I think the club just needs to protect itself from any criticism in terms of ticket distribution and therefore it's difficult to respond to requests on a forum such as this. It's a fine balanace between safety & security and making tickets as widely available as possible.

 

Totally agree that this is a fantastic opportunity to get people through the door that might just come back again and we need to grasp that with both hands. In fact, I think that's what I said in my interview with Sky Sports!

Dead right Ian, I realised you are TV star ! I expected to see you on 'Gillette Soccer Saturday' along with my 12 yr old son Thomas who was interviewed about the game 'live' on Radio Berkshire !

 

The thing is, I could get to the ground at 1o'clock but cant stay for the match. Could I get 2 tickets & then go or would I have to pay to get in to a match I cant stay & enjoy?

 

Anyway, you live in Cippenham, couldnt you get me tickets, my son chats to your boy & he told him you are Leeds fans, if thats true you are suffering like me, especially after last night !

Phil - before suggesting a way around your ticketing problem can I just point out that I am not, have never been and never intend to be a Leeds United supporter!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Outside of their allegiances to the Rebels my wife and son are Leeds fans but my older daughter and I follow Watford. On the 24th November when Leeds play Watford at Elland Road, Kay and Tom will be in the home end and Rebecca and I will be in the away end! The journey home will be....interesting! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/argue.gif" alt="" />

Cup fever has officially hit slough, Im a teacher and all my pupils are talking about the Walsall games, and loads of them have had so little to do with the club they still think we are are in the conference or at Wexham Park (Or both!) But one thing is for sure, if we get through this one the whole place will go loopy.....(Am considering getting them all to write to the council about how they need a local football club....) Unfortunately with me as an English teacher the spelling and punctuation would proabbly so bad it would makes not really help us.....

I think that would be a fantastic idea to get them to write to their local Council. If nothing else it will educate them in the writing of business letters and also teach them from an early age that the local Council will completely ignore them and go back on the majority of their promises. From the meeting on Tuesday, it seems that all the seats in the stand will be numbered and tickets will be allocated. It is hoped that regulars in the stand will be able to purchase "their" seats. Although it should be remembered that some seating tickets will be allocated to Walsall and this may not be possible in every case.
