Well you have me completely stumped here my old mucker.

 

Think you should use a few brownie points between now and the 13th.

 

And by the way, the reason why I'm missing the most important game of the season to date is cos I have a charity gig I'm playing at. Sorry chaps!

OK, cheers anyway.

 

Way I'm going to play this is....

 

1) Emphasise firstly the importance of my attendance at the clubs 2 biggest games of the season, vs boston away then grays at home.

 

2) Emphasise that I've already missed Lewes away because of a lame party i had to attend with her workmates and also that i'm missing Arlesey away to attend the birthday. I'll also use stats to say that if i don't go, i'll have missed 3 out of 4 saturday games due to her, her work, or her family.

 

3) as it's 2 weeks away, suggest that his itinerary be tweaked to 24 hours later, or he stays a bit longer.

 

4) plead with him in person this weekend ("oi, have a fackn word with your sister mate! etc.)

 

5) engineer an argument early saturday morning, storm out of the house.

 

6) remind her that it's her birthday soon, and unless she all she wants is a card, bar of chocolate and a bottle of wine, she should play ball.

 

7) beg.

R, we (you and I) went up by early-morning train and met everyone in the bar where we watched Arsenal beat Tottenham 5-4.

 

Then we went to the game, lost 5-2 I believe, we had a man sent off early 2nd half. Then Treeboy drove me, Westy and Keemo home (me back to the Bridge), we stopped off for a couple of nice real ales in Tallington on the A16 before joining the A1 home, where I had a pint of Strongbow with Bridgey in the Bridge. You got a lift back with someone else R, don't remember whom.

 

The players' coach had a brick thrown through the window I remember, so the players didn't get back till late I think.

 

Great day rounded off by a nice sweet and sour chicken and special fried rice dinner at home. Oh for days like those.

I do believe treeboy accumalated 3 points on the journey up there.

We watched the first half in a pub in boston before being told to leave because i jumped up going mental when arsenal scored in a tottenham pub.w@nkers
