Please help.

 

As we all know, we are away to Boston on the 13th November.

 

Now I'm already missing the away trip to Arlesey due to the girlfriends grandad having a 90th birthday party. Her brother is flying over from the states - coincidentally from Boston, and will be staying for a few weeks. However, the schedule he has worked out means that he'll be with us for one day and night only - yes, you've guessed - it's the 13th November.

 

My dilemma is, how can I politely tell her to fck off, i'm watching the urchins, and simultaneously not offend her or her brother.

Listen you fckn onanists, i still very much want to go, but don't want to have a big barney over it. I've not dropped out yet! grr.

 

Anyway, just been on the Boston Forum.

 

Here's the response when i asked for away allocation details.

 

"You'll get the Town end (formerly the home end) which is now given to all away supporters. It is a terraced end and holds about 1800. It gives a great view and good acoustics mean you'll outsing us even if you only bring the expected skate board full."

 

so, 18 hundred... thats 9 seats each...

 

don't think it will be an all ticket somehow...

A1ITT wasn't moaning at anyone in particular. There are more things to do on a Saturday than attend a Football match! not everyone can go or get to every game. I was mereley stating that a game of this importance should attract a large away support! people should fully take advantage of the free travel available to them. It would be an embarrassment if the usual 100 or so only turn up. Be a good warm up for next year when we should take a large number to every away game.

another reply regarding pubs.

 

What a helpful bunch of people!

 

"Just a reply about the pub question you posted. There is no bar in the ground,but away fans are welcome in the Sports Bar situated in the car park. There are two pubs in nearby Main Ridge,the Coach and Horses and the Wellington.The town centre also has numerous pubs and usually the Red Cow in Wide Bargate is the place where most away fans head for,good food and giant tv screen.. Also on food front there is a chip shop which charges take away prices but you can sit and eat in.Eagles which is in Main Ridge and the coaches will pass this and turn right into York Street.
