RIVALS REUNITED IN CUP

Manager Steve Evans is on a collision course with old adversary Garry Hill after Boston were drawn at home to Hornchurch in the FA Cup first round.

 

Hill, who is manager of the high-flying Conference South side, will travel to York Street later this month with the bitter rift between himself and Evans yet to heel.

 

Hill demanded Boston be kicked out of the Football League while manager of Dagenham after Evans was found guilty of financial irregularities in their promotion-winning 2001-02 campaign.

 

Boston earned a place in the old Third Division at the expense of the Daggers, and Evans admits the scars between the two managers still run deep .

 

"I won't shake hands with Garry because I have no time for the man," Evans told the Lincolnshire Echo.

 

"Win, lose or draw I will not make any attempt to shake hands because I dislike the man intensely."

excellent stuff. shouldnt think that garry will be too bothered about evans still sulking. he's moved on now, and even if he still harbours bad feeling, i'm sure that somehow, he'll get over this slight from an allegedly bent manager in charge of an allegedly bent club.

GH was standing between myself & &1itt while the draw was made, he seemed very confident although, as we all would, wanted a home draw.

steve evans can fu*k off,i think the geezer is a c**k,they were found to have financial irregularoties at time but the tw*t got away with it,anyway,this is all dagenhams problem not ours and we shouldn't be dragged into it just coz we have dagenhams ex manager,we will be right behind garry because even though i don't like dagenham,boston should of been thrown out of the league at the time,and for the obvious reason that he's our guv and we are going to sort their guv out.
