TV coverage not looking likely

BFR

Looking at the times of matches on the fa website it looks as though we've been overlooked. There are two matches on the Friday night at 7.45 (Southend vs Luton, Bristol City vs Brentford) and on the Sunday, Thurrock vs Oldham is a 2pm kick-off.

These are not yet confirmed as tv matches but the Thurrock on says a lot to me

How rubbish is that. I recall last season's live Thurrock match being a crap game with a crap atmosphere. Not impressed. I genuinely thought our game would have a great chance of being screened.

Maybe the best we could hope for now is to be the main featured game on Saturday MOTD.

AFAIK - It cannot be switched to Walsall - the FA will not allow it after the Farnborough/Arsenal situation. It can be moved to another local ground on Police advice - apart from that it is tough on Walsall - that is the beauty of the cup.

The Beeb only ever have one, and Sky are only due to have one according to their list of matches coming up on Sky. They do have a slot for an FA Cup replay on 25th November but hopefully we'll have been the giantkiller already and featured heavily on MOTD

Sorry chaps, but the FA have confirmed choice of Thurrock and Southend for the Sky matches in their circulation.

At least though, you've a juicy tie with Walsall to look forward to!

All the best for that!

Thanks Alec,

A real cracker on Sunday, shame somebody had to loose, but it was a non-league cracker. Hope the ties in January is just as good - we look forward to visiting!
