True FA Cup game - hard fought by both teams and you could see how much it meant to both teams at the end

Thank you Sailsbury for bringing the largest crowd this season to stag meadow, it made a real difference to the atmosphere to have some traveling fans who made some noise - see you new years day!!!!!

New Years Day? I hope we don't pick up any injuries against them in the league as we'll be playing our third round tie at the beginning of January!!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Great atmosphere, brilliant result. Well played Slough, though I suspect Salisbury will feel they might have got a draw as [color:"red"] it was a game either side could have won.

[color:"blue"] Sorry Ted, mate ! Just had to have a snigger !!

Sounds like a gaffe from the John Motson commentary gaffe book !

Think Sailsbury have every right to be gutted. They were by far the better team in the second-half and, with some better shooting, could have put the game out of sight long before we got the winner.

Why am I focusing on the negatives??????? We won!!!!!!!! We're through tothe FA Cup 1st Round and are playing a league team at home!!!!!!!! Savour it while we can people, because it ain't going to last!

We will do Walsall 3-0, draw Wycscum in the 2nd round drw 0-0 and then beat them at Adams Park in the replay 1-0. For the 3rd round we will go to the Madejski and in the 90th minute Lloyd will rip his blue and white rag off, reveal an amber and blue shirt underneath and stick the ball in his own net for the Rebels to win. Once a Rebel, always a Rebel.

<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wow.gif" alt="" /> What a cup tie. An absolute barn stormer. Got huge sympathy for the Salisbury following who must be gutted.

Just great. I am absolutely buzzing. Like Chris and Ian I went absolutely mental when Wilko popped up to put that in. I have no idea how I ended up where I was.

Bring on the Walsall. Eddie Denton's Rebel Army. Thanks for this boys.

Now that's what football is all about. 2 teams & sets of supporters really giving it a go. Just got back to t'north after rubbish trip up M1, but still smiling. Can't speak, but huge grin. My girlfriend and her daqughter also enjoyed it, especially the bit where I went mental after 88 minutes. The last few moments were fantastic - well done to everyone for creating such a superb atmosphere - I can't wait for the Walsall match.
