Great atmosphere in the bar yesterday waiting for the draw and what a long wait!!!!

 

A few cries of derision when Aldershot came out but that soon turned to chants of "Aldershit" and "who the fck is Adam Miller!!" <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

So bring them on!! We have an old score to settle and there is a great deal of respect between the two clubs.

 

Unfortunately I won't be there to see the game as I'm flying out to Milan that day but I know this side can do the business. If we can play like we've done for the last couple of weeks we should fear no one.

Had to chuckle a bit- 'great deal of respect between the two sets of fans' epitomised by the fans chanting aldershit.

 

Should be a good tie- Needless to say, I'd settle for a nervy 1-0 to us again like last time.

There`s a thread on the Aldershot forum about the possibility that the game will be moved to the friday or more likely the sunday, Portsmouth play Southampton on the saturday and there might not be enough police left to deal with our game.

By the way, are Hornchurch always like a load of kids in the playground after they've beaten you? True, a lot of our fans got a bit of sour grapes about the defeat, but the Urchins are like 10-year-olds rubbing their victory in our faces!

Stu M, ignore the Urchins. Most of them are a pretty decent bunch they just get a bit over excited sometimes. We were like that a couple of years ago but we soon calmed down!!!

aldershot away would be a great draw in terms of it being a big club with good crowds.. the anti climax is that its a team we have played so often in recent times.. you always want someone new in the f.a. cup.. still we do get to see miller again though
