God Knows How They Passed Their Exams They Didn't Have A Clue, It's People Like Them Who Bring The Game In To Disrupte, The Referee And Both Linesman Had Awful Games.

 

I Know That If Hornchurch Had Lost I Would Of Blamed The Referee Because He Was Giving Stupid Decisions Against Us. But It Was The Same For You.

OK, speaking as a qualified ref of 12 years experience I would say that both penalties were what I would call soft ones. I am still unsure what the free kick was for from which you scored the winning goal, maybe somebody a bit nearer could advise.

 

Both assistant referees indicated a couple of dodgy offisdes but in general they were correct. Do you get everything right, first time, at work???

 

And as for the result I thought the right team won today, they were more incisive and, certainly in the second half, played the much better football.

 

And just to round off I was in the Eastside,about halfway between the two sets of singing fans,and I heard no racist comments, just lots of good natured, if sometimes quite sweary, mutual piss taking. And it brought lots of laughter to those around me.

 

Oh and who complained about the sun, did you expect the stadium to have a roof???

Fair comments Gary. And as for the Eastside bit your not the only one. It seems that some heard it and some didn't but I think a majority didn't. It's just sour grapes really and I think if some certain individuals take it further like said in the caskey thread it would be a hell of a shame and they should take a good look at them selfs as well as pop to the doctors to get their ears tested <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> and btw it's hardly the millenium stadium you lot were going to, what did you expect?! I think it is somewhat premature to say that the racist abuse never happened, just because you didn't hear it. It was difficult to hear the person next to you, owing to the noise for most of the game, so it is very difficult to say truthfully that there were no racist comments. It's just a shame we should even be talking about this, but sadly it seems to be becoming too regular a thing and something must be done about it soon.

Fair point Harry, you lot are all throwing the blame to the "30 or so yobs" (I quote from the Caskey thread) but who says it weren't Fleet fans?

 

Anyway its done and dusted, all over and finished so can we just drop this stupid allegation and continue with the beautiful game...
