On a positive note..

On a serious note lads and lasses, you supported your team in great numbers yesterday, we were very pleased with the way the whole day went, we felt quite confident of being able to cope with the big crowd expected.

Your people, to the man, responded with a goodday etc.. when a greeting was given.

Anyone who expected to just walk in at 2.55 get any place they wanted and have an unexpected view were mistaken.

Some of the fans were in position at 1.45, to see the players warm up etc..

I wish you all the best, as I do the whole of G&NF and will be looking out for your results.

cheers

Our defence was absolutely shocking today, i was hoping when mooro got that knock that he would go off he was that bad. The worst I have ever ever seen him play. Total dog dirt.

Is it really necessary to berate Moores performance in the above fashion. Alright he didn't play well, and he would probably be the first to admit it, but to describe it in that manner is out of order. Also there seem to be one or two of our supporters I've heard that seem to have a go at our players during a match, at the top of their voices so the players can clearly hear it. Understandable from away supporters, but home fans!"!". All very counter-productive

I have never had a go at a player whilst at the game, so please don't include me in that point. As for moore, his display was atrocious on saturday, and whether he is first to admit it or not, i stand by my comments.he worried me everytime the ball got within 10 yards of him.

I found this v frustrating as last season i would have considered his to be the 1st name on the team sheet. I sincerely hope he kicks himself into gear for future games.

Last year Mooro was the rock of our defence, AND added a lot of arial threat at set pieces, resulting in a lot of goals.

I cannot work out what has gone wrong this year, he looks completely at sea with the ball at his feet, rarely wins a clean header, is often out of position, and seems to be lacking in pace.

All this cannot just be attributed to lack of confidence, I feel a lack of fitness is playing a part too.

We need Mooro back to his best, commanding the defence, telling passes and scoring goals again.
