I thought Andy Drury had a really good game today - here's to his confidence coming flooding back.

On another point, how close can a dangerous kerbstone and running track be to a playing area?

We lost one player to the kerb and would have lost Andy D as well if the green matting hadn't been in place in front of the management "huts", when falling after being "nudged" by the right back.

Can't wait for Carlisle game - I'm sure Andy and Ade will be telling the players they owe us after the lack lustre second half.

Result expected. However, I'm puzzled... Where does the money come from to keep horns blowing? Certainly not from visible contributions. The crowd was small, as there was a good proportion of Fleet supporters. Should be interesting to see if it all fits with Conference expectations.

That will have to change if they are promoted. Aren't wages capped at 60% of taxable income ?

What dump the ground is. Vitually no standing near the pitch, nowhere to segregate and only one entrance. Looks like they need a bigger ground.

Apparently most of the Hornchurch sqauad are on £1000 per week and Hill is on £100,000 per year. Stupid money.

Hope their backer pulls out, the they will up sh*t street without a paddle!!!

Sorry Chatham Gary can't agree, I liked their ground, okay it wasn't the best but I liked it.

As for their backers pulling out I would hate to see that, Hornchurch have done nothing to us just knocked us out the cup. They have their own interests to look after so can't be expected to let us go through.

u liked their ground!!!?? It was appaling the whole of the 2nd half i had sun in my eyes and the whole of the 1st was spent trying to find a postion where i could see as much of the pitch as possible which was actually very little of it.

 

If you wanted to stand behind the goal you would be miles away from the action!! i guess it fits their average though, of 700, but today there was tomany people to comfortable watch the game!

Sorry mate I like what I like. Next season I'm givin up my fourteen your old season ticket at Chelsea to watch Gravesend. Everybody that I have told that supports a premiership team were more amazed at then you after hearing me say I liked Hornchurch's ground.

 

As for the sun in your eyes, well theres a traditional thing to do around this. Try puting your hands above your eyes thus blocking out the sun.

I didnt actuly say anything to suggest bad losing, all i did was respond to harry about the ground which in my opion was very uncomfortable.

I tried to put my hand over my eyes but got told to put my arm down as i was blockin someones view.

 

I personaly can accept we lost, although i do feel hardone by, and agree we wern't in the game for long periods in the second half. Mayby you should wind your kneck in instead of trying to agrivate people!!!

Personaly i am quite glad we don't have an owner who like to splash the cash on playing rediculas wages for player. I mean who knows when it will all go belly up and you are left with a squad of players whos wages you can not afford. It is alright now whilst you are succesful and the backers are intrested but what happens if you end up being boggeded down in a relegation battle every year, and these backer lose intrest.

I too am glad we have sensible people in control of the club and not a rich individual bankrolling us (note to hornchurch fans no mention of the rich guy not being sensible, im sure he is).
