Watson laid on the goal, we did not see Che coming, but Darren did, he could have gone for glory as he had made a powerful run and had a possible shot, but he generously laid the Man Che a sweet pass across the front of the goal, which Che made a stunning run in to take and then hammered home. Superb goal.

Watson scored the second, a bit of a bundle but in all the same. It was great to see him swatting defenders away like flies. His coming on changed the game, he looked fine and fit, however everyone played a blinder and it was a glorious match to watch. Trego made a spectacular save in the first half and was steady thereafter, safe hands all through. Second half we had the edge in attacking. Weston did not look likely to score .

Saw some lovely moves between Rocky, Peter, Moses and Che in the first half. Aaron had two knocks on the head, the first one necessitated an exit to the changing room, which was a worry but he came back on thank goodness.

Defensively we looked much more purposful and kept thing tight. Ross Smith looked good again, some nice work with his head and some fabulous tackles.

Much, much better and a well deserved win.

Great win. Thought there were more than 203 in Ground

Thought it looked closer to 103 then 203 wouldnt of said there was more then 150 at the game.
Any way nice result looked like being a draw for 80 mins then the last 10 mins u could sence us snatching a goal Darren Watson man of the match set up the 1st and scored the 2nd but to be fair they all played well even....... alexis in the 2nd half who looked like he was trying to make up for tuesdays performance.

The ref was quite bad at times he didnt do us any favours in the 1st half and weston must felt hard done by in the 2nd they had 1 fairly good shout for a handball in the box and possibley a second shortly after any way thats luck i guess and we certianly havent had any of late.

With regard to BillEdwards -should the above post say'if selected'

Whilst not brilliant from what i have seen recently, the barnett, Smith , Annon central 3 looks more stable than anything seen earlier this season .

However, last season Bill deputised for greg oates at right back and to me that option should be explored this season.

I'd like to see a back four of:

Edwards, Barnett ,Smith ,Annon.

At least until Oates and our best player-Green- are fit

Have to agree with michaelmichael on this one a back four would be more sutible at the momemt playing two midfielders out of postion as wingback really isnt the best way not when we come up against teams with decent wingers.

Following on from above, if you put Benevides in fronf of Edwards, he helps cover and give a bit of pace, and on other flank,Clarke in front of Annon and they are good and experienced enough to avoid trouble.

Thus until Green and Oates are fit, i'd play

Trego

Edwards barnett smith annon

Benevides Gradley Keister clarke

or

Baptiste

Che Deannoo

Now that looks to me an ok side.

Balanced

Cover for defence in benevides and Clarke

Allows benevides to do his impromptu stuff, but still be covered by gradley.

Clarke and to lesser extent Benevides can provide some decent crosses.

Keister and |benevides there to pick up the second phase ball infrom attack.

gradley who is quietly effective at breajking up attacks.

Above all ,4 proper defenders, and still cover on flanks from clarke and benevides

if we do not concede ,we don't lose(unless by penalties in a cup game-i said that just in case for Tuesday night as i have a feeling there are no replays.)
