Had the pleasure to play cricket against Jacko over the Jubilee weekend - guess what, he his just as competetive on the cricket pitch as he is on the football field . To cap it all he's a really nice bloke as well.

Can't wait for the pre season freindlies - especially C****y !!!!

my dad plays cricket with him on sundays. great bloke, great family. used to love playing footy with him after the cricket - legend.

something made me larf!!!

after the argie game i was in the wetherspoons in town singing along with the hoards, when in comes good ol'jimmy and the poor bugger was a bit worse for wear but i couldn't help feel sorry for him when the whole of the pub started screaming 'theres only one jimmy jackson' it did make me larf especially when he tried to sneak off to the bar only for more drunks to spot him and subject him to the same song!

you should have seen how red the poor bloke went!!

As a star member of the illustrious Cobham Cricket club, (and if you know me, you would know just how big a whopper that is!)

 

I would like to point out that Jims cricketing talents nearly outway his football qualities!

 

The only problem is that he tends to bat like a girlie and field to the same standard as an average Saudi Arabian goalie!

 

(Mind you his Dad stands a pint in the bar afterwards and his Mum is real nice!)

I might go along and watch Jacko if I've nothing else to do, though I'm not really a cricket fan, I've met him on a few occasions and he's a really nice bloke.

Mentioning Jacko, watching the world cup on TV I noticed one of the Polish players looks the image of Jacko from a distance!

There's one of the japanese players that bear more than a passing resemblance to Lee Spiller as well.

Have been playing against Dave Clear for over 20 years, hardly ever takes a wicket, hardly ever concedes a run, and is always a bugger to get out.
