Talking to a player who plays and has played alot under Mr Austin. Apparantly his team talks start carry on and end in a description of what he has done as a player and how good he is. 'A bit of a charly' was his exact words.

Heard a rumour yesterday that Peter Risley has an interview tomorrow. 'Dream Team' would include Messrs Clarke and Mudd. Source is closely related to one of that team.

Heard that rumour from a relable source as well and both Rizza and Mudd were there.

 

To quote somebody in the pub last night "well if they become managers I might just start coming again" so there is no doubt that anyone who saw these in their prime and with the passion they had for City it'll lift the clouds and probably increase the gates.

 

Wonder if they have Cockrams number as well.

 

Also heard that Gary Phillips had ruled himself out the job.
