i have just foud out that the the thant air show will be called the margate air show and will be held over palm bay and cliftonvile.

I know this has nothing to do with the club but it is good news for margate.

p.s. it will be held 18-19 june 2005

Thanet stepped in when Shepway Council gave up their show as it was costing too much.

So despite being worried over the cost to the ratepayers of the private stadium Thanet Council are quite happy to spend hundreds of thousands(the cost will be high) of ratepayers money watching planes over the sea for 30 minutes.
