Ground grading..........

This is all very hypothetical and survival is key for next season but.....

 

How much work needs to be done to get our ground to league standard???

 

If we finish top five and the conference has the next 4 teams playoff for one place am i right in

assuming that because we have a lease that has less than ten years to run until expiry that we

wont be able to compete and hence cannot be considered for promotion...?

 

Also i would think that we would have to increase the number of seats still further and improve terracing

at Nortfleet end of the ground....Can anyone comment?

Certainly the lease is the first thing to do because without that nothing else can be done.

 

We contacted the new Landlords (Land Securities) as soon as we were promoted, but we are still waiting to hear from them.

 

As things progress, we will keep everyone informed.

There's now an article online at www.kentonline.co.uk where Brian is interviewed. Surely what he states is incorrect as we have no chance of being promoted or entering into the playoffs this season with the current ground issues outstanding.

The ground grading has to be sorted by 1st April 2003, so there is time.

 

As I said the first step is to sort out the lease, and that is what we are concentating on at the moment.

Are we all set to go up now , if the chance came our way ?

 

Also, after the LDV disqualification for this season, are we putting any plans in place in case we get another top half finish, to ensure we are Ok for next seasons.
