Final Score From Hendon

Slough hit the goal trail as they won 9-0 at Hendon in the Capital League (yes, that's nine, it's not a typo).

Goals from Miller (8, 40, 45), Hodges (15, 48, 65, 68) and Matt Murphy (30, 70) sealed the rout for the Rebels with the downside being an injury to Miller on the stroke of half time which ruled him out of the second half.

Only nine! Should have scored at least 10 - buck your ideas up Rebels!!

Great news about Hodgie - place on the bench Saturday at least I would have thought now.

Would Eddie start him though? It's a dificult one as Matt Seedal has been by far our best player over the last few weeks, but Hodgie still offers more of a scoring threat. So what do you do - play them together maybe? But they have not gelled as a partnership yet?

I'd play Hodgie, but I would not drop Seedal.

Would have to say that after a game like that Hodgie will be in the team. If I were Eddie I would start with:

Whincup

Carbon, Daly, Salusbury, Michael Murphy

Harris, Mets, Hakki, Haddow

Hodges and Seedal

Subs: Wilko, Moller, Spencer, Steer and Miller (if fit)

Hodges and Seedal not really had an opportunity to gel yet due to injuries etc but I think it could be a very useful partnership particularly with the energy and pace of Harris, Josy and the Mullet to back it up.
