to some it up crap

1st half was the worst 45 mins i had ever seen the gate play only real bright spot for us was a che run were he was brought down out side the box by the last man the guy got away with a yellow and the set peice came to nothing.

 

2nd half was a little better che should have tucked 1 away to make it 1-1 but he blazed it over the bar and we had a few more lack lusture chances but both there goals came at times when we seem to be ontop of them any way a bad 2nd half watson came on and looked good for 2 mins then looked [****!!****] for the remainder of the half.

 

 

right as for the player's trego was outstanding he was the only thing that stoped the scoreline resebling a lewes,grays result che gave a 100% as normal he limped of near the end not a good sign

bene and moses worked hard and barnett was the better of the defenders now as for the rest of em bah terrible!!!!

 

now on to alexis wtf is he doing playing for the gate i know he is out of postion but ffs he played [censored] when he had the ball he was just hoofing it up feild not looking around or paying any attention to the game, he gave the ball to so many sutton players i was starting to belive he was playing for them!! not to mention how often he was out of postion i really hope he doesnt get the opertunity to put a gate shirt on ever again he was apualing and sutton new it they had a free hand down that wing.

 

as u can tell am a little dissapointed by the result as we played poo and made sutton look like a class act wich they clearly wernt due to the few times we did put them under preasure they folded like a flat packed box sadly we played just far worse then they did.

 

 

Rant over am pissed off and im sure none of it makes sence but i dont care my final 3 words are..

embarrassingly, the Sutton forum seems to agree with you.

 

I must admit, it also gets a bit much when standing next to an fairly innocuous Sutton fan, who at time did not know i was supporting Margate, turns round and says-Margates ful backs are cr.p.He had no axe to grind, and normally opposition fans don't notice your own sides weak spots.

 

No disrespect to Peter and Alex. but they are clearly not defenders-frankly-in those positions they have not got a clue, and it could be damaging to their own development as midfielders to continue with playing them there.

 

Bill played right back when Oates was injured last year.

 

Worst way, assuming we cannot afford a loan player(Searle from Hornchurch would be useful as he seems out of favour unless injured)we would be better off with a yts player who at least has some idea of what defending is about.

(formerly blueblood)Yes we lost yes we had chances and yes there were mistakes. But what did we have out there, No full backs, only one recognised centre half. The only man on that field who should hang his head in shame is our top earner( though he did get his head to four balls) Trego played a blinder,Annon gave his all,barnet played well.YOUNG Alexis though as you say out of position made mistakes mainly not clearing quickly enough,but (was constantly up against there best player) ran his heart out. The new boy Ross did well. Peter Benevides had a quiet 1st half but had two good runs second half. Adrian Clarke was quiet, John Kiester was gave his usual death or glory performance. Moses in my eyes ran his socks off also hence going of with cramp,as did che. Of the subs It was nice to see big Darran back though not yet up to the level of fitness needed,Young dan still does'nt impress Young Tamba i think as promise. Saying all this and trying to forget our highest <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" /> earner does'nt exist, it was'nt good enough,But it was another game that the club have played and we are still in there fighting and from what i hear tonight,we are here for the long term. The club,manager ,players etc. gave us something to watch and we are grateful.

 

Its just so frustrating when we are 'better than this',and everytime its an elementary error that starts the rot.

 

Thinking overnight, the lack of chances created by midfield are as much to blame as defensive lapses last night.

Think you are a bit harsh on ( i assume) Rocky. He was ok.

 

Again, i think Gradley was missed very badly last night

im no fan of gradley but he has been improveing so much so that it noticed imensly when he was missing last night.

 

as for rocky have to agree with blue blood aside from a few headers and a lame shot on goal he seem to trip over the ball every tine he was on it and give it away with stupid passes mind u he isnt the only one at fualt for giveing away the ball far to easily so i wont dig him two much for that but still i do belive he should have been subed for dw instead of moses who played a far better game and at least managed to hassle the defenders.
