You are not permitted to take photographs of the game within the stadium without holding an official Conference licence. Any football club have the right to confiscate such film or alternatively sue the individual if they feel it necessary. Crazy I know, but its new legislation.

I agree........the wife once went with me to Sheff Wed game at Hillsborough and was only taking pictures of the stadium , but was asked not to by the Stewards !! couldn't quite understand their objection but suppose they were only doing what they were told......in the end, they said....ok carry on, but don't let anyone see you...which I suppose was nice.....but not even 'er indoors can hide a big camera !!

Cheers,

I was passing through Leeds in August and as my daughter is a massive fan, (God alone knows why!) I thought it might be nice to take a few pictures of the ground.

Although the ground was open for a function, I was told that I needed written authority and would only be allowed to do so on an official tour of the ground which I needed to book in advance!

When I explained to the security officer that all I wanted was a quick snap of the empty stadium, and he could come along with me if he wanted, to make sure I had no dodgey motive, he told my mate and myself (both of us Police Officers by the way) that if we were not off the premises immeadiately, he would call the local Bobbies to have us forcibly ejected. We were then followed around THE OUTSIDE of the ground to ensure that we didn't sneak in by some other route!

Talk about a friendly welcome!

Shame was that it looked an excellent ground and one they should have been proud to show off.
