It is not a case of not taking it seriously - the Dorchester game was already arranged for this week. The home side are the ones to come up with the date (in conjunction with the date by which it has to be played). Thurrock usually play their home games on a Monday, but the Wednesday actually gives us a better chance than to play it the day before an important league game.

 

Needless to say that it was important to fit the Dorchester game in as soon as possible in case the fixture backlog starts to grow due to Cup fixtures, bad weather etc.

 

I can assure you that the team that plays will be taking it seriously and will aim to beat Thurrock on the night.
