"Elections won" said Slough Council, "must dash

Deaner's Footballing plans we will smash,

We'll pretend to consider,

We'll lie and we'll dither,

Then we'll run off with his cash."

 

"Don't worry ", cried the bold Rebel Yell,

"I'll save Slough from this footballing hell!

I'll buy out Martyn Deaner

Where we'll go, grass is greener

New ground, team and nice covered goal ends, as well!"

 

"Fantastic!" said the Fans, "That is brash,

But have you got such a large pile of cash?"

"No probs!" said the Yell,

But before long we could smell

A very large rat in the trash............
