Have to say, I started off watching as a neutral, but when Ireland's equaliser went in I cheered as I'd been born beside The Liffey rather than The Thames.

 

They thoroughly deserved to salvage a point and it was especially good to see Niall Quinn involved - a genuinely nice bloke, who puts to rest the stereotype of the thick Irishman.

 

Roll on Friday, though (and more news of Andy's final signings.)
