Call me naieve if you will, but I think its very sad that the guy has lost his job, when in actual fact he did his level best for the club. I am not conversant with any of the facts surrounding his departure, I can only state that working with him, the man tried. Thats all he could do!

We shouldn't mock this situation or the individual concerned, one day it may come to us all. Good luck mate.

I suspect we will never know the main reason for G A 's departure.

I am aware he did an excellent job brokering the Gladwish deal, but wasn't that his job?

There DID seem to be an awful lot of old boys junkets, free or otherwise which distracted him from his main task - raise funds and raise the profile.

I do suspect however it may have had something to do with the Board's lack of confidence into Mr A's true allegiance.

Only time will tell whether G A was truly behind Fleet or whether he had a foot in Scally's camp as well.

It will be intersting to see who his next employer is, I wouldn't be suprised if he turned up at Priestfield soon.

If there was any doubt whatsover then he had to be shown the door.

These are worrying times with Scally's proposed move to Ebbsfleet, we would not survive with a spy in our midst.
