OK Guys, I know this is not non-league but this man surely has entered our lives at some time.

Perhaps a minutes silence before the start of the game should be observed.

LONDON (Reuters) - Bill Nicholson, the most successful manager in Tottenham Hotspur's history, has died at the age of 85, the Premier League club's website reports.

"It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Bill Nicholson," a club statement said on Saturday.

"Bill passed away peacefully at a Hertfordshire hospital early this morning after a long fight against illness. He was 85."

A former Spurs player, Nicholson managed Tottenham from 1958 to 1974, leading them to the league and FA Cup Double in 1961.

Nicholson also took Tottenham to two more FA Cup wins, the 1963 European Cup Winners' Cup and the 1972 UEFA Cup.

He was appointed club president in 1991.
