Dean Wells is joining Bowers & Pitsea in a coaching capacity and will start as soon as possible.

Dean Wells was great wakerings ressie manager for the last 2 seasons, he is also a level 3 coach he is rated by Darran George the manager and is held in high regard by him i have no doubt that it is only a matter of time before this new management team at bowers turn things around,starting at hullbridge sports on saturday. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

Dean is well known as a youth coach. A former "Essex Coach of the year", he has been a coach at West Ham's academy, Southend's Centre of Excellence and a former District team manager. He was also a coach at Mayflower school (Billericay) and I believe is currently head coach at South East Essex College.

 

I wasn't aware he had been at Gt Wakering as most of his career has been with youngsters. He is known to be very ambitious, so Mr George had better watch his back!!!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wurm.gif" alt="" />

Im hearing through the grapvine that Dean Wells is the new head coach at bowers & pitsea he has also been made 1st team assistant to the manager Darran George,with mr georges approval.The manager is Darran George and i am led to believe that Mr Wells has been told that from the offset only time will tell whether Mr George gets backstabbed by his backroom staff.

Mr George was told from the start that the club were bringing in a new head coach namely Dean Wells,Mr George does know dean quite well and holds him in high regard at no time what so ever was the manager kept in the dark regarding dean wells coming to bowers and pitsea football club.

Mr George is very loyal to the club and the higher senior club officals realise that this is why they are backing him to the hilt.
