I used to think like most people that our elected leaders were put into there positions of trust by we the humble voter to look after the interests of both we the local residents and the area as a whole. Has you know i drive my car around this once great but know(due to greed and bad leadership)very tired Isle, On my travels i pick up fares ranging from the mentally ill, drug addicts, drunks and even politicians. The difference i find with the first three of this diverse groups is with all there varying problems they will admit in conversation they do have a problem, where as the latter think what they do is a game.I do'nt know how many of you have done this job and have listened to these elected i!!!!! talking in the back as though you are deaf,i can assure you it beggars belief. Is it any wonder when you look around at this once proud and cared for isle you know see litter, uncut grass, dereliction, rising violence, street crimeopen prostitution and drug dealing on our streets,Elderly people afraid to go out at night,Undermanned police struggling to remove people from areas only to have the council move another problem family in 2 doors down to repeat the cycle.people who dare to say anything threatened with both having there homes torched and with death. All this is happening on the streets of thanet and much, much more. What is nero doing ,he is fiddling with MARGATE football club as the rest BURNS. PS forgot he is also sitting on top of a open drain which is the Turner contempary. pps yes cookie Vicky is in there and doing a grand jod. ppps we also learned what happened to mr davies last night . if you remember he was the ex council guy who was brought in by kp to take charge of negotiations on behalf of the club,i cant print it but take it from me it was'nt nice.

Did I say Vicki wasnt doing a good job? Don't think I did.Am sure she has done. Was just pointing out that now a secretary if thats what she is/was has now had to get up and speak on behalf of the club. Thats the position we have now found ourselves in. There was nothing in my posts to suggest she wasn't good at her job. Maybe you weren't inferring that so if thats the case, my apologies.

was'nt inferring anything, i was allowing the emotions to flow and getting a lot of pent up frustration off my chest. i am realy just sorry that this minor point in the post was the only one you saw fit to comment on. Lets hope the club survive long enough to see this shower reigning above us fall to the ground and run down the great drain of political oblivion. LONG LIVE THE GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE.

The club received confirmation of the "OFFER" apparently on wednesday. The club told us last night (thursday) that MR.ezekiel or someone at the council had altered the agreement on it, twice. (Though not sure how they know that unless they received 2 letters) The club then said it was given to their solicitors for perusal yet they also said that they returned a letter on the same day, WEDNESDAY to the council concerning these changes. All of this in one day. Find this hard to believe somehow. Details of those changes were not given out.

Those changes, whatever they may be have halted our progress yet again but this time ,financially the club are worse of than ever before and therefore are in a perilous position.

The developers cash is there but the clubs day-to-day expenditures are being hard to find, if at all. A yes from the council, as simple as that. and "keep to your word" agreement would see all this change. We are/were that close to seeing things come to fruition.
