Feeling REALLY depressed now !

Tonights meeting was the most depressing I have ever been too.Despite the good-ish news we had it now turns out NOT to be so good.Am a little pissed off at the moment to talk about it too much but I can say that it was a meeting full of gloom.Shall get back to you later.Perhaps others can gen u up on things. Speechless, does'nt describe it. basicly due to the double rewriting of the councils letter to the club by mr e-mail,the letter which should have been in the clubs possesion monday as promised did not arrive until wendsday, the ground as once again been moved,so the club have replied, within the allotted 5 days (ie 21st of oct). and have given the council a further 5 days to reply. My reading of the situation and i think that of most of the people attending the meeting is that the situation is as it was on friday before the last meeting with the council. I dont think it would be to wise on anybodies part to say to much more.All we can do is support the club and as i can't go to basingstoke on saterday i hope and prey i shall have a team to go and watch at Sutton on Tuesday. May God help the GAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE, KP <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" /> and the BOARD <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />.

Am up and ready for work now and as for cookiewatcher,did you go last night? I doubt it so you shut YOUR effing mouth.I didnt get to much sleep last night thinking about it all and wondering JUST what else can be done.I do apologise for not giving out too much last night but I was in shock.It is as Blueblood says but the attitude of KP and VIKKI,yes VIKKI is now a spokesman was such that it had all of us leaving thinking the worst.Both KP and VIKKI gave their opinion,when asked, of a timescale for a final decision,one way or another on our future and it was narrowed down to 5 days. As they cant possibly know what the next move would be by the council I assume they realise the future,according to the club is now in jeopardy.

I, as COOKIE, only give out information I recieve whether it be true,false or rumoured.Its up to you all to decide how you see it from there on.

I was in shock last night but just couldnt come to talk too much about it then. Sorry.

No doubt you will get others giving the same views from last night.

I, personnally left the meeting, having listened very closely to all that was said,feeling the worst. Of course no-ones given up completely but things aint quite what the papers made out.

Looks like once again the leader of the council has back tracked and left us in turmoil again. Believe KP or believe him not but it left a bad taste un my mouth. Oh well, lets keep on hoping for the best. Once again, sorry for the shock last night but I felt someone HAD to say SOMETHING.

Or are the club indulging in brinksmanship? Are they using emotional blackmail to get what they want from the council, i.e. "do as we want or we'll pull the plug and you'll have upset football fans to deal with?" I'm not sure who to believe.
