Diss-cussions regarding the FA Vase

Recommended Posts

Can we beat Diss Town in the FA Vase Saturday or is this the end of the road for Town in this competition this season? I think if the lads can be as motivated as against AFC Sudbury anything is possible. Diss are bringing loads of supporters so the singing should be competitive and an away crowd is always welcome. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/teleport.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/teleport.gif" alt="" />

As a much travelled groundhopper since the demise of my beloved Dons I tend to visit a whole variety of clubs and I have decided to visit your F A vase game this saturday ,I am travelling from weybridge via the M25 and this will be my first trip to enfield since you beat us in the F A cup all those years ago. I must warn you I take very careful notes and have been very critical on a small ammount of clubs As a part time journalist its my job I suppose so I shall be making comments on the facilities ,hospitality, standard of beer food Etc. I have been to your neighbors Boreham wood(not bad) Hertford(bar too small)St albans(old ground but o k) cheshunt(what a dump)Waltham forest(too quiet) so I hope not to be disappointed .

Hope you enjoy the game. Apart from the bear (that's Brimsdown's department). You should be pleasantly suprised by our hospitality/food/facilities..ect.

Whatever you think of our Stadium, just remember that two seasons ago it was just an open field.Only the determination of the club and its supporters has turned it into the neat comfortable place to watch football, that it is now.

If the Brimsdown Bear is going to be there does that mean my 7 year old Town Siberian Tiger stays at home? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/taz.gif" alt="" />

I hope you have a good journey up to Brimmo.

The ground is good for the standard we play at, as LS says 2 years ago it was pitch and rail.

A word of advice; if you want an enjoyable day, bring an extra £1 to buy a 50/50 ticket from Junior!

HAVE A NICE DAY

The Brimmo bar is the only football club bar I have been to in ages where you can buy a pint of cask beer. So, it's AK, but at least it's better than a pint of websters on tap-YURGHHH.

Oh, yes, Cheshunt is a dump!!!

I reckon there should be a premium on the corner pieces of bread pudding! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" />
