Spurs Membership Pack

Finally got my Spurs Membership Pack in the post this morning.

 

A nice Spurs Members flag to stick in the window on my non-existent car, a tie pin, a pen and a key-ring. How the fk it took them over five weeks to post to me, I'll never know.

 

Then again, this is the same club who, when I went to order a Spurs kit for a 6-month old baby on their website, wanted to charge me £6 for postage. For that tiny little shirt.

 

Apparently, their postage rates go up depending how much you spend. Items over £30 cost £6 to send out. What [****!!****].

 

And then it turns out that it "usually" takes 5-7 days to process the order, but could be anything up to 28 days.

 

If there's one thing that pisses me off about Spurs, it's that their administration is, and always has been, just shocking.

 

Didn't get my ticket for Fulham either, so may be stuck at City/Basingstoke after all. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

Mind you, the mighty U's are at home.

Tell me about it. Unbeknown to most my "old man" was born in Tottenham and was an avid follower (in fact still is). I can clearly remember how pissed off he used to get (some years ago now) for the very same reasons, but us having moved "up t'north" they at least had some excuse.

 

Thinking about it though, his Auntie Rose was employed at WHL well into her late 70's working in this sort of area so its hardly supprising that matters of this nature took considerable time to sort out as she was a blind deaf old battleaxe from my recollection. Had one or two memorable visits to WHL to see this dear old lady and get a free tour of the ground though.

This will also be the next game I can make. Maybe meet with a few others at The Mermaid for the early game on SKY followed by a pleasant stroll to the delights of an autumnul Clarence Park ?
