Steve Clarke or John Martin

both interesting players.

After recent weeks I feel that Clarkie has lost his shine, with some of the players voicing their opinions.

Johnny looked keen, sharp and his confidence grew as the game progressed, he also seemed to have guidance and encouragement from Darren Caskey.

I would rest Clarkie see how Johnny performs over the next couple of league games

Only my opinion

clarkie struggles on the left which is obvious to us all...he is however lethal on the righjt where he should be playing...

contentious or not...how about clarkie on the right...martin on the left and elam on the bench...

I have no view on this but merely wish to point out the overall strength of the squad...

personally I thought we looked more balanced on saturday but not really the right game to judge from...

Unc, like you I am not sure about Lee Elam, haven't made me mind up yet.

It will be interesting to see who is played over the next two games and who is picked for the FA Cup, I agree that promotion is the only objective for the season, but I like many others will feel that Gravesend is a game that we should be able to win and a run in the cup will do us no harm at all.

Darlington made my year.

Well will all have our opioions and Elam is my first choice on either wing. Not to sure about Worms, but like the look of Clarkie.

Clarkie is a confidence player and the more he gets the ball the better he plays.

Then theres Jonny. Poor sod starts off at Left midfield then moves in the middle then back to left back. The look on his face said it all to me, but it's team game and he adapts very well to those situations.

Glad I'm not the manager!!!!

Lee on the right wing is linking up extremely well with, for me, one of the contenders already for player of the year. Mr Scott Gooding. They are getting very used to each others' game and seem to knock the ball into the space the other is thinking about before anything has been shouted, or even thought? That may be the manager of the month, it may be telepathy, but fck me, it's a joy to behold sometimes.

Caskey eggs the entire team on (or bllx them as the case sometimes is) all game, every game.

Lee seems to have been slightly off the boil over the last 2 games, (wasnt everyone, crowd included vs bognor?), but I think the man's talent is evident.

in my humble opinion, of course.

garry knows....

Yep have to go with Lee Elam as first choice on the wing. Clarkie can be excellent so he is always worth a go. His pace is a real asset.

As much as I like Johnny Martin, I think he is wasted on the wing. Much better in the centre I think. He totally ran the game against Tranmere in that position.

I just think its great that we have so many quality options all over the park.

Boys there is no contest between John and Clarkie, Clarkie has one thing over John and that is lightning pace, but he only uses this once or a maximum twice a game, John works harder, is a better passer is a better crosser and gives us a far better balance. The team looked far better on saturday. Wormull should play on the other side, look back thru the video clips of the season so far and see how many assists for Wormull and how many assists for Elam??? Granted Elam scored a great goal at Carshalton but has done little else, he gives the ball away a lot more than Worms.

I would like to see a first choice 11 of Nut Nut,Scotty,West©,Stuart,Searle,Wormull,Caskey,Weatherstone,Martin,Jackson,Purser.

Everybody in that 11 can pass the ball, we would never give it away (JUST LIKE WATCHING BRAZIL).

Sayin all that Macca would be unlucky to be dropped but Westy has the edge aerially and on the ball.

SAY WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!
