My Old Band!

Interested and surprised to see my old band listed on this website, alongside the likes of Cornershop, Hurricane #1, Idlewild, Dodgy, and err... Jim's Super Stereo World!!

We did 30-odd gigs during 1992, so not sure which of our gigs this site relates to, but it's nice to see we're not forgotten!!

We were called Plimsole (not my fault - they had that name before I joined!) and we did half and half our own material and covers. Badly.

 

Dug out all my old tapes the other day to try and make some kind of a compilation CD. Good memories, but we weren't particularly tight or original. Their fault for already having their own material when I joined and not allowing me into the song-writing 'unit'!

 

No reunion planned Gertch, I'm afraid! Only really keep in touch with one of the guys now. I've moved on anyway. A lot.

 

Loads of photos, CANV, but all at home, but I may scan one or two in tonight. Just live photos though, no 'posing-band-photo'-type shots!
