Tis exactly what happened to me - very painful and incredibly frustrating but at least he'll get the kind of medical attention such an injury needs and requires. At least his level of fitness will aid his recovery.

Best wishes to the man, it's gonna be a long old road back to full fitness but patience and purseverence is the only road to take.
