By the way i wouldn't buy championship manager off of the clubs website, i would wait a couple of months for the new version, because then you can act as the manager for the fleet as they are in the conference now!!!!! did anyone else know that??

I'm on the Eidos mailing list so I will get advance information for when the 2002/2003 version comes out.

 

You should still buy it from Amazon through the website, as the clubs gets commission of 5% of the order.

 

Presumably someone has to provide the player details before they can put them in.

Well there seems to be some doubt on the Championship Manager website, but it looks as if it won't be until September or thereabouts.

You can use the present version. If you go into the data editor, update the fleets team and change a few things you will be able to start from the conference. I have managed this, and last season the mighty fleet won the Premier League and the Champions League.
