Because the club wouldnt give him a new contract due to his dodgey knee , but instead keep him on a match to match basis . Chesham were prepared to give him a contract ; Andy got Steve McKimm ; and the rest as they say is ( quite literally Ron ) history . <img border="0" title="" alt="[big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

So it was just the contract, nothing to do with the fact that they were prepared to double his money then.

 

BTW this should be in the Lee Spiller thread shouldn't it.

I think your all being a bit harsh , can you honestly say you would nt be tempted to leave your job if someone wanted to double your money !

I think in Coreys case We got our moneys worth , its not as if he just turned up for the cash . We can all name a long list of players who have truley ripped us off .
