An even longer break than expected?

Recommended Posts

Following my announcement earlier this week that I am not due to go to another Saints game until 20th November, it would appear that our opponents on that day are withdrawing from the Conference South at some stage today. Therefore, I may just have been to my last City game for 2004, Newport away on 29th Jan being my next scheduled stop.

Don't know the full details, but apparently the Tory Party are to blame, judging by a post on the Conference South forum.

And Laz breathes a sigh of relief!!

City Fixtures and my excuses for not going...

23 Oct: Bognor away - but I'll be at Spurs vs Bolton

27 Oct: Weston away - can't get home afterwards

30 Oct: Basingstoke home - but I'll be at Craven Cottage

2 Nov: Grays home in League Cup - well, will you be bothering?

6 Nov: Eastleigh away - I'll be at Spurs/Charlton

13 Nov: Horncurch away - except they'll be in FA Cup action

20 Nov: Margate home - see above

27 Nov: Weymouth home - or Spurs/Boro, as the case may be

4 Dec: Grays away - no thanks

7 Dec: Redbridge home - last night before Mrs Z has final scan which may mean hospital the next day. So no.

11 Dec: Carshalton away - baby could come at any time around here, so don't want to be virtually intimidating cheerleaders in leafy Surrey just in case.

18 Dec: Eastbourne home - Southampton at home, more like.

26 Dec: Cambridge away - no trains, won't be doing Scarfer Bus

1 Jan: Cambridge home - and yep, Spurs are home again, this time vs Everton

8 Jan: Dorchester away - and I'll be going wherever Spurs are in the FA Cup 3rd round

15 Jan: FA Trophy 3rd Round - yeah, right!!

22 Jan: Maidenhead home - but I'll be at Palace/Spurs, ticket permitting

29 Jan: Newport away - HURRAH! MY NEXT SAINTS GAME!!

Laz, even if you had played Margate this season they currently play at Dover which is bloody miles away!!! Not likely to bump into any psycho birds there!
